BankVerter Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to BankVerter, a service operated by Lobesoft LLC (the "Company", "we", "our", "us").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BankVerter website and application located at https://bankverter.com (together or individually "Service").

Our Privacy Policy also governs your use of our Service and explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information. Your agreement with us includes these Terms and our Privacy Policy ("Agreements"). You acknowledge that you have read and understood Agreements, and agree to be bound by them.

If you do not agree with Agreements, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who wish to access or use Service.

2. Service Description

BankVerter converts bank statement PDFs to CSV format. PDF processing happens in your browser and on our secure servers (OCR and AI parsing) — your PDF content is used only to produce your CSV and is never shared, sold, or used for any other purpose. Account features (session history, cross-device sync) are optional and server-mediated.

3. Eligibility

By accessing or using Service, you warrant and represent that:

You are at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction)
You have the full authority, right, and capacity to enter into this agreement
The information you provide is accurate, complete, and current

If you are not at least 16 years old, you are prohibited from accessing and using Service.

4. Account Registration

When you create an account, you guarantee that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete information may result in termination of your account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

You may not use as a username the name of another person or entity, a name or trademark that is subject to any rights of another person or entity without authorization, or any name that is offensive, vulgar or obscene.

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in our sole discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with Terms. You agree not to use Service:

In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation
For any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
To transmit any advertising or promotional material without authorization
To impersonate any person or entity
To infringe upon the rights of others

Additionally, you agree not to:

Use Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair Service
Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device to access Service for any purpose
Introduce any viruses, trojan horses, worms, or other malicious material
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of Service
Attack Service via a denial-of-service attack or similar
Upload malicious files or attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures

6. Data Processing

PDF content is processed in your browser and on our secure servers (OCR and AI parsing) to produce your CSV. Account data (email, session activity, parse metadata) is stored on our servers. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

7. Purchases and Subscriptions

If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through Service ("Purchase"), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including payment information.

You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any payment method in connection with any Purchase; and (ii) the information you supply is true, correct and complete.

All payments are processed by Paddle.com Inc. and Paddle Payments Ltd. as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, tax collection, and invoicing on our behalf. By submitting your information, you agree to Paddle's terms and privacy policy. Paddle's privacy policy is available at https://paddle.com/privacy.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for reasons including but not limited to: product or service availability, errors in description or price, error in your order, or suspected fraud.

Some parts of Service may be billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis depending on the subscription plan you select. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless you cancel. A valid payment method is required to process payment for your subscription.

8. Free Trial

Lobesoft LLC may, at its sole discretion, offer a Subscription with a free trial for a limited period of time ("Free Trial"). You may be required to enter your billing information to sign up for Free Trial. You will not be charged until Free Trial has expired. On the last day of Free Trial period, unless you cancelled your Subscription, you will be automatically charged the applicable Subscription fees.

9. Fee Changes

Lobesoft LLC, in its sole discretion and at any time, may modify Subscription fees. Any fee change will become effective at the end of the then-current Billing Cycle. We will provide reasonable prior notice of any change in fees. Your continued use after a fee change constitutes your agreement to pay the modified amount.

10. Refunds

We issue refunds for purchases within 14 days of the original purchase. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive. Refunds are processed by Paddle in accordance with their refund policy.

11. Content and Your Data

Our Service allows you to upload information, text, and other material ("Content"). You are responsible for Content that you process through Service, including its legality and appropriateness.

You retain all of your rights to any Content you submit, post or display through Service. We take no responsibility and assume no liability for Content you or any third party processes through Service.

PDF documents uploaded to BankVerter are processed in your browser and on our secure servers and are not stored on our servers beyond the conversion. Parse metadata (file names, transaction counts, timestamps) may be stored if you have an account.

12. Intellectual Property

Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Lobesoft LLC and its licensors. Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

13. Copyright Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any Content available through Service infringes upon any copyright, please submit a claim via email to [email protected] with a detailed description of the alleged infringement.

14. Feedback

You may provide us with information and feedback concerning errors, suggestions for improvements, ideas, problems, complaints, and other matters related to our Service ("Feedback"). You acknowledge and agree that: (i) you shall not retain, acquire or assert any intellectual property right in or to the Feedback; (ii) Company may have development ideas similar to the Feedback; (iii) Feedback does not contain confidential information; and (iv) Company is not under any obligation of confidentiality with respect to the Feedback.

15. Links To Other Web Sites

Our Service may contain links to third party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Lobesoft LLC. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services.

16. Disclaimer Of Warranty

SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. COMPANY MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THE SERVICE, OR THE INFORMATION, CONTENT OR MATERIALS INCLUDED THEREIN. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

COMPANY HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY OUTPUT PRODUCED BY THE SERVICE. THE SERVICE CONVERTS BANK STATEMENTS USING AUTOMATED PROCESSES, INCLUDING PARSING AND OPTICAL CHARACTER RECOGNITION, WHICH MAY PRODUCE ERRORS, OMISSIONS, OR INACCURACIES. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING ALL OUTPUT BEFORE RELYING ON IT FOR ANY FINANCIAL OR OTHER DECISION.

17. Limitation Of Liability

We are not liable for any damages, direct or indirect, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its output, including but not limited to data loss, OCR or parsing errors, financial decisions made based on converted data, or service interruptions. EXCEPT AS PROHIBITED BY LAW, YOU WILL HOLD US AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS HARMLESS FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE, HOWEVER IT ARISES. IF THERE IS LIABILITY FOUND ON THE PART OF COMPANY, IT WILL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

18. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lobesoft LLC and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use and access of the Service; (b) your violation of any term of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (d) any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party.

19. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever including but not limited to a breach of Terms. If you wish to terminate your account, you may delete it via account settings or simply discontinue using Service.

20. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time via account settings. Upon deletion, personal data is erased within 30 days. Anonymized audit records may be retained for legal compliance.

21. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lobesoft LLC regarding the Service, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and arrangements, whether in writing or oral.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

24. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, internet outages, or governmental action.

25. Changes To Service

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend our Service, and any service or material we provide via Service, in our sole discretion without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of Service is unavailable at any time or for any period.

26. Amendments To Terms

We may amend Terms at any time by posting the amended terms on this site. Material changes will be notified via email. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
