Refund Policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026
1. Overview
BankVerter is a service operated by Lobesoft LLC (the "Company", "we", "our", "us"). We provide a SaaS platform for bank statement conversion and analysis. This Refund Policy explains your rights and how to request a refund for purchases made through our service.
All purchases are processed through Paddle, our authorized reseller and merchant of record. Paddle handles all payment processing, tax collection, and refund fulfillment on our behalf.
This policy forms part of our Terms of Service and is subject to their terms and definitions.
2. General Policy
2.1. Unless required by applicable law or stated otherwise in this policy, all purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
2.2. We may issue refunds on a discretionary basis in cases of genuine technical issues or as outlined in Section 4 below.
2.3. Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior.
2.4. If you receive a refund, access to the relevant BankVerter service will be revoked immediately.
3. Subscription Cancellation
3.1. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
3.2. After cancellation, you will retain access to the service until the end of the paid billing period. No further charges will be made.
3.3. Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
4. Refund Eligibility
4.1. Statutory Withdrawal Rights (EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland)
If you are a consumer based in the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom:
- You have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from your purchase and receive a full refund.
- This applies to one-off purchases and the first payment under a subscription.
- The 14-day period begins on the date of the transaction.
- Exception: If you have started using the service (e.g., uploaded documents, run conversions) and expressly consented to waive your withdrawal rights, the right to withdraw no longer applies.
4.2. Other Regions
| Region | Cooling-Off Period |
|---|---|
| Turkey, Israel | 14 days |
| South Korea, Brazil, China | 7 days |
| Canada | 7 days |
| Singapore | 5 days |
4.3. Technical or Service Defects
If the BankVerter platform has a material defect that prevents you from using the core functionality (document conversion and analysis), you are entitled to:
- A full refund of the relevant charges paid; or
- A replacement or credit, at your option.
To qualify, you must report the issue to our support team within 14 days of encountering the defect and provide reasonable details to help us reproduce and diagnose the problem.
4.4. Discretionary Refunds
We may, at our sole discretion, issue partial or full refunds in the following situations:
- Duplicate charges — accidental duplicate transactions
- Billing errors — incorrect amounts charged
- Extended service outages — platform downtime exceeding reasonable expectations
- Feature misrepresentation — where a purchased feature was not as described at the time of purchase
Discretionary refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and do not set a precedent for future requests.
